Licensed Nail Technician (Full-Time)
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. As a Nail Technician, you will provide exceptional nail care services to our valued customers, ensuring their satisfaction and well-being. Alongside your technical expertise, you will contribute to our warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a sense of community and creating a memorable experience for both our clients and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Nail Care Services: Perform a wide range of nail care treatments, including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail art, and other related services with precision and attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized customer service, understanding and fulfilling each client’s unique needs and preferences. Create a welcoming and comfortable environment to promote repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
- Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their nail care goals, discuss options, and recommend suitable treatments and products.
- Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment. Sterilize tools, properly dispose of waste, and follow health and safety guidelines to protect both clients and staff.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and industry innovations in nail care. Maintain knowledge of the salon’s products, including polishes, gels, and other nail care accessories, to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, including hairstylists, estheticians, and front desk staff, to create a cohesive and supportive work environment. Assist and support colleagues when needed to ensure smooth salon operations.
- Upselling and Retail: Promote and sell salon retail products, including nail care items, polishes, and accessories, to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.
- Appointment Management: Efficiently manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations, ensuring proper scheduling and client flow to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Nail Care Expertise: Possess a valid nail technician license and demonstrate proficiency in providing various nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail art. Knowledge of gel and acrylic nail extensions is a plus.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to build rapport with clients and make them feel comfortable and valued.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous with excellent hand-eye coordination, ensuring precise and neat work on each client. Strong attention to detail in sanitation and safety practices.
- Creativity: Ability to showcase creativity and artistic flair in designing unique nail art and suggesting trendy nail styles to clients.
